PRIVACY NOTICE AND CONSENT - To help you lease/rent real estate, a Property Manager needs to collect, use and disclose some of your personal information. Personal information means any identifiable information about you including but not limited to, your name, address, phone number, financial and employment information. Property Manager means a member of the BCFSA licensed under the Real Estate Services Act. Most of your personal information will be collected directly from you through the Application for Tenancy. Some information may be collected from other sources such as Rent Check and publicly available information as described in the PIPA. Your information may be disclosed to (or may be accessible by) the Property Manager(s) and their staff, the owner of the property, government agencies to comply with legal requirements, the BCFSA, and Rent Check Corp. Your personal information may be collected, used and disclosed to facilitate the lease of a rental property, for purposes of responding to emergencies, ensuring the orderly management of the tenancy, complying with legal requirements and for collection purposes should rent be left owing or rental property damaged at termination of lease or end of tenancy. By signing below, you give consent to the collection, use and disclosure of your personal information as described above and consent for a criminal record and credit check to be processed. TENANCY WILL BE DENIED IF you misrepresent any information on the application.
